A large number of Islamabad’s residents have been affected by hours-long gas outages. One wonders how an extreme situation like this has failed to get the attention of the concerned authorities. If this can go on in Islamabad – which is the country’s federal capital – what would be expected in other parts of the country. Cooking on little or no gas pressure has now become a test of nerves. Daily routines of the residents have been badly affected. No one knows for how long this situation will go on. The residents are suffering in silence because apparently this situation has been unable to move the authorities.
If the CNG supply of a few gas stations is halted, it would help a lot to end the miseries of the people. The concerned authorities are requested to mend the grave situation before the people get to the streets in a violent way.
