Has received mixed to positive reviews, with the performances of the cast earning praise despite the movie being unexceptional.
Is Pitt’s fourth World War II film, following Beyond All Boundaries (2009), Inglourious Basterds (2009), and Fury (2014), and Cotillard’s second WWII movie, after Lisa (2001).
Cotillard tutored Pitt for his French dialogues.
