NEW DELHI: Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is determined to get back on her toes as she stated that fans could expect her to resume work just one month after her delivery.
In the recently heldLUX Golden Rose awards, Kareena Kapoor received theGlamorous Diva of the Year award. Show host Arjun Kapoor asked her when fans could expect to see her in movies, to which the actress replied:-
"I will be back on my toes within a month of my delivery."
News of Kareena Kapoor Khan's pregnancy was broken by her husband Saif Ali Khan in July, when the actor had disclosed in July that he and his wife were expecting their first child by December. The actress has already signed Rhea Kapoor's filmVeer Di Weddingwhich will also include Swara Bhaskar and Sonam Kapoor in supporting roles.
This will be Saif Ali Khan's first child with Kareena Kapoor, whom he married in October 2012. Saif was previously married to actress Amrita Singh, with whom he has two children--Ibrahim and Sarah.
Kareena Kapoor has claimed in various interviews that she was not shy of her pregnancy and was enjoying the period. The actress has also participated in many photoshoots, flaunting her baby bump.
