Urgent solution to Kashmir, Palestine issues urged

Islamabad: Institute of Peace and Development INSPAD President and Ambassador of UNIHW and former advisor to Prime Minister AJK for Human Rights Sardar Muhammad Tahir Tabassum said that Kashmir and Palestine are burning issues and should be settled down on urgent basis, says a press release.

United Nations new Secretary General elect Antonio Guterres should ensure to implement UN resolutions on Kashmir and Palestine, said. Talking in the Board of Directors meeting Tahir Tabassum said that world powers must influence India to stop killing, genocide, raping and violations of human rights in occupied Kashmir.

Kashmir needs world attention because, year after year Indian atrocities are increasing. Since past five months Kashmir is completely and continuously under military siege. As more than 8 lakh armed forces men are deployed in the streets of Kashmir. No one take care of sufferings of common people in Kashmir. Schools, colleges, universities, business establishments, transport, hospitals remaining closed there, he said. So for, during this ongoing unrest more than 106 civilians have lost their lives, 15,000 injured, 300 lost their eyesights due to direct hit by pellet guns, 10,000 civilians have been arrested, 36 schools put on fire.
