One of the greatest and most influential singers of all times, Malika-e-tarannum Madam Noor Jehan needs no introduction. With a successful career that spans over seven decades, she recorded about 10,000 songs in many languages including Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi and Sindhi. It is no surprise that she lent her voice to the highest number of film songs in the history of Pakistani cinema and was also the first female local film director.

To pay tribute to the legendary singer, EMI Pakistan held an exclusive premier of Gul-e-Daudi (The Chrysanthemum), a short film by Umar Riaz that reflects on her music.
