There are many who have always marveled at celebrities and the ease with which they bounce back to shape within months after their pregnancies. Chrissy Teigen is one of them. After just giving birth to her daughter in April, Teigen recently flaunted her perfectly toned body at the American Music Awards. Thankfully, she is one of those truthful celebs who like to remind us normal people that celebs are normal people too.
In an interview with Today, Teigen said: “Anyone in the public eye, we have all the help we could ever need to be able to shed everything. We have nutritionists, we have dietitians, we have trainers, we have our own schedules, we have nannies. We have people who make it possible for us to get back into shape. But nobody should feel like that’s normal, or like that’s realistic.”
Teigen also spoke about postpartum depression and how it should be discussed in detail. “I think a lot of the mood stuff that happens afterwards isn’t really talked about. For me, some days I wouldn’t know how to cope with work and juggle things.” The model also said that she thought that having a great pregnancy was a curse because she went through severe mood changes after giving birth, claiming that some periods of her time after birth were “super dark.”
Teigen is the same celeb who once shared a very natural picture of her stretch mark covered thighs, calling them “stretchies,” which received a lot of appreciation all over social media.
