Once again the political drama by the PTI leader, Imran Khan, has created a tense situation in Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Whenever Khan has political differences he calls his workers on the streets without the proper planning – hence his infamous U-turns. The question is: what led him to step back from his ‘lockdown’ and announce a ‘Youm-e-Tashakur’?
Khan called out PTI workers and supporters but stepped back without any satisfactory answer. He always says that his ‘dharnas’ are for the greater good of the country but he doesn’t have a road map or a vision to lead the party. Women workers and parliamentarians came from far off areas to support him. They faced difficulties when law-enforcement agencies confronted them. If he is really a well wisher of the country, he should review his past mistakes and come up with a constructive strategy for the betterment of the country

The PTI has called off the Nov 2 sit-in in Islamabad. This week-long fight had positive outcomes as well. The political parties of the country have shown confidence in the Supreme Court which is a positive sign. A huge responsibility now rests with the apex court to give a verdict on the historic case – the political elite will be finally accountable before the court.
Second, a proper investigation has started because of Imran. He has reversed his decision for the greater good.
