KARACHI: Hussain Chattha clinched the National Tenpin Bowling championship title at Leisure City Bowling Club in Islamabad.
The championship was spread over a week in which players from Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, FATA and Islamabad participated.
The tournament was played in singles, doubles, team and amateur categories.
In men’s singles event final, Hussain outclassed his opponents with a total score of 351 out of two games. He received Rs75,000. Ashiq Ali closely followed him with a total score of 348 and pocketed Rs50,000. Ahmer Suldhera bagged 304 points to secure the third position and Rs15,000.
In doubles category, Zafar Iqbal and Ashiq Ali scored 713 to take the top position.
Faizan and Sadaqat Ali team came second with 657, while Ahmer and Danyial with 623 points secured the third position.
