The Sindh High Court’s orders for action against liquor shops may need another look. Hundreds of thousands of non-Muslim tourists visit Pakistan every year. As such, keeping liquor shops open all around the year can be a justified legal requirement.
Moreover, there are non-Muslim foreign foreigners working in Pakistan; they may also want to use this facility. The SHC is requested to look into the matter once again.
