Bilawal says Altaf is a political reality

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People's Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday dispelled the notion that he had called Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif a traitor.

Speaking to media after a meeting withJamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Bilawal said:"I can't even think of calling the elected prime minister of the country a traitor," he said. Answeringa question regarding Altaf Hussain, he said he had never termed the MQM chief a traitor. The PPP chairman said Altaf Hussain was a political reality in Karachi.

He criticized PTI chairman for asking PPP to introduce minus-one formula and said the talk of minus formula didn't suit Imran Khan. "I didn't expect Imran Khan to talk about minus-one," he deplored.

He parried a question regarding PPP's alliance with the JUI-F in the future.
