The poverty statistics released by the World Bank indicates that the region cannot afford a war. The two neighbours – India and Pakistan – often move towards war and armed conflict without considering the state of poverty, health and education in the two countries.
Right now, poverty eradication is the main task for both Pakistan and India. We should change our priorities and focus on raising the standard of living of the common man. Positive thinking and a positive attitude attract prosperity, peace and happiness in the region.
