Airport facilitation

The federal ombudsman of Pakistan has established a ‘one-window facilitation desk’ at almost all working airports of Pakistan. These desks comprise more than 10 agencies of Pakistan, including Nadra, FIA, CAA, ASF etc led by the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation. The purpose of these desks is to provide every facility to passengers and sort out their problems at the airport. The raison d’etre of these desks is to lodge the complaints of overseas Pakistanis at airports and get them redressed in a jiffy.

Whenever a complaint is received against any agency or airline, a fax is immediately sent to the federal ombudsman, Islamabad. An officer of the federal ombudsman is available round the clock to process the complaint. The officer sends the complaint to the concerned agency or department and seeks a reply without delay and takes action if the concerned department proves guilty. However, passengers going abroad or coming back home do not know about the facilities provided to them at these desks. Moreover, passengers are still not very sure that any action will be taken against their complaints. Passengers should know that the federal ombudsman has established this one-window facilitation desk for the redressal of their complaints.
