Catherine Zeta-Jones reveals why she won't apologize for kids acting dream amid nepo baby debate

Catherine Zeta-Jones is gushing over the work ethic of her nepo-babies with her husband, Michael Douglas, after they are taking over their acting business.

Following the 57-year-old actress's interview in which she called out the term "nepo-baby" as "horrific" and defended her own kids, Dylan, 26, and Carys, 23, Catherine is now showing her kids her full support, insisting they have a real passion for the showbiz world.

"We told them all the [Hollywood] horror stories to see if their passion for the art and the craft was genuine," the Welsh actress told AARP Magazine.

Catherine went on to say, "But they’ve done every production, they went to every theater camp. Sometimes it was like: 'Can you just come home from theater camp? Can we have two weeks to see you at the summer break?'"

Despite their begging, Catherine and Michael kids remained committed to their love for acting.

The Chicago actress explained, "It’s a very small percentage of our business that can really make a living out of doing what we love. But they certainly do love it."

The doting mom further raved about Dylan and Carys' love for acting, noting that they are "working hard" and she is "proud" of them.

"Look at the world and the life that acting has given me. I mean, it’s amazing. I would give anybody the opportunity that I’ve had," Catherine noted, adding, "They’re loving it, they’re working hard, they’re auditioning and they’re making their way by themselves, their own path. And I’m very proud of them both."

For those unaware, Carys graduated in film and international studies, while Dylan earned a degree in political science. Both siblings studied at Brown University.
