Keke Palmer reveals what stops her 20-year career from going 'stale'

Keke Palmer has dug her heels in multiple ventures over the past years, from acting to hosting to singing to writing a memoir, so calling her a jack of all trades won't go wrong, but what keeps her going?

The multihyphenate, who is also a single mom and owns a production company too, caught up in a recent chat with People and opened up about what's keeping her excited now adays.

“I’m super excited about what’s coming up soon, which is me starting The ‘Burbs,” Keke said of the second season of her comedy-mystery.

Keke, who runs her own podcast titled Baby, This Is Keke Palmer, further shared, “I’m also looking forward to working on music and doing my podcast. I love doing my podcast."

“There are great conversations and guests that are going to be coming there," she gushed.

Keke proudly added, “I’m just glad to really still be able to do what I love and be excited about it when I’ve been doing it for 20-plus years. It can get stale, if you’re not careful.”

Keke's Early Career Days:

The 33-year-old began her career in acting at the age of 10 with her debut as Queen Latifah’s niece in Barbershop 2: Back in Business.

She rose to fame in 2006 in the movie Akeelak and the Bee.

She also released her debut album the subsequent year.

She then earned a major role in Nickelodeon's True Jackson, VP and continued taking various acting roles in movies and dramas.

Moreover, she is also a mom to three-year-old son Leo, whom she welcomed with her ex-boyfriend, Darius Jackson.
