Prince William has shared his views and a major reason that forces parents to pull their children out of school days after Meghan Markle and Harry decided to change the school of Archie and Lilibet.

Meghan and Harry, who moved to UK after years in the United States, just days after starting a new school chapter they have changed Archie and Lilibet's school earlier this month.

Days after Meghan and Harry’s decision, Kensington Palace reposted Prince William’s Earthshot Prize Instagram post, which talks about the drought and its impact on kids.

The post reads, “A drought doesn’t simply destroy crops. It can force parents to pull children out of school. It can mean selling assets that took generations to earn. It can mean leaving land that has belonged to a family for decades.”

Sharing about the 2026 Earthshot Prize finalist, the post further says, “Now it no longer has to - thanks to Pula.”

It further explained working with governments, insurers, banks and agricultural partners, Pula is making financial protection available for smallholder farmers.

The post also revealed that to date, 24 million farmers are insured and $2.8 billion agricultural investment protected in 19 markets with 8 governments.

In another post, Pula is seen talking about his move, saying “One bad season can wipe out a family’s income.”
