Presley Gerber's body cremated as final funeral rites begin

Presley Gerber's body has been cremated, and preparations for the final rites are underway.

For those unaware, the model passed away last weekend while receiving a treatment at a rehabilitation facility in Santa Monica. He was the only son of supermodel Cindy Crawford.

According to the latest report by TMZ, Presley's remains have already been cremated at the Rose Family Funeral Home, and his ashes will be kept at his parents’ home.

The publication also reported that arrangements for Presley's funeral are underway and the service is likely to be held in Southern California next week.

It is pertinent to mention here that the investigation into Presley's tragic death is ongoing.

“Upon arrival, officers located an adult male who was deceased,"Police said.

“SMPD detectives are investigating the death as a suspected overdose. At this time, there is no indication of foul play. The investigation remains ongoing," the department added.

Before his death, Presley had spoken publicly several times about his struggles with drug addiction and mental health issues.

In March, the model underwent ibogaine treatment at a clinic in Mexico.

“I was absolutely terrified, and I knew I would be again if I ever had to face something like this," Presley said at that time.

“I knew why I was there. I faced what I had been running from," he added.
