Katie Price reveals update on seventh driving ban

Katie Price has revealed that her latest driving ban, her seventh, is finally coming to an end.

Price has lost her license many times since 2010 for things like speeding, driving while banned, and a drunk-driving crash where she admitted using drugs. In 2021, one of these got her a suspended prison sentence.

The most recent six-month disqualification came after she ignored police correspondence related to a speeding ticket.

Speaking on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, the former model said it "won't be long" before she gets her license back.

"[The DVLA] have now written back with the application form to fill out. So, I know the date I should be getting it back and I'm looking in the post as if it's Christmas Eve!"

Price admitted that getting insurance afterward may prove difficult, given her driving history, joking that she'd accept almost any vehicle at this point, even something as basic as a Fiat 500 or a moped, just to regain her independence for everyday errands.

"I don't care what car I have. You know I'm a petrol head, you know I love my flash cars, but again, I know that I just have to have what I can have and that's it because no one will insure me."

"I don't care, I just want to go from A to B; shopping, sunbed, nails, hair, and visit mum," Katie added.

The update comes shortly after Price confirmed her split from husband Lee Andrews during an appearance on Good Morning Britain. She revealed the relationship ended after discovering financial inconsistencies, saying she felt manipulated despite Andrews never taking money from her directly.

Andrews, currently in custody in Dubai, shared a voice note stating he believes the divorce is for the best, while denying any wrongdoing and expressing continued feelings for Price.
