Savannah Guthrie makes desperate plea as mom Nancy remains missing: 'We need you'

Weeks after her last post about Nancy Guthrie on social media, her daughter, Savannah, made another post, making a desperate plea to find her missing mother.

In an emotional appeal, she spoke in a religious tone, “We believe in prayer. We believe in voices raised in unison, in love, in hope. We believe in goodness. We believe in humanity. Above all, we believe in Him."

Then, the TODAY anchor quoted Isaiah 26:3, “‘He will keep in perfect peace those whose hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord,' a verse of Isaiah for all time for all of us. Bring her home.”

In the end, Savannah asked the public to keep her and her family in prayer and to share any information that could help in the search for Nancy.

“Thank you for lifting your prayers with ours for our beloved mom, our dearest Nancy, a woman of deep conviction, a good and faithful servant. Raise your prayers with us and believe with us that she will be lifted by them in this very moment. We need you."

Nancy, meanwhile, has been missing since Feb. 1.
