Beats offer the most advanced acoustic performance ever with an improved transparency mode
Beats is officially releasing its new Beats 360 headphones today at a price of $349.99-a move representing an updated over-ear headphone design with a tailored acoustic performance and plush comfort. It is not a replacement for the brand’s Studio over-ear headphone as the Studio Pro will remain part of the Beats lineup.
Beats 360 is primarily engineered with a ground-up acoustic redesign that delivers up to 1.75x greater active noise cancellation and 12dB higher output.
In addition to active noise cancellation which utilizes an internal and external ambient sound analysis array, beats 360 also supports Transparency mode to hear the outside world alongside Adaptive EQ to dynamically optimize audio output.
Performance Knit memory form inserts are engineered for high-intensity training and ideal for working out other active uses but for the times you might prefer a classic cushion style. Beats 360 UltraPlush cushions feature memory foam covered in synthetic leather.
Sensors in Beats 360 analyse whether you are using Performance Knit or UltraPlush and adjust adaptive sound filtering to process audio signals for the physical alterations caused by materials. Users love the interchangeable color-matched cushions and headbonds in shades like Black, Cloud, Sky and Pink offering versatile choices.
