Kate Beckinsale shares cryptic posts after wiping social media

Kate Beckinsale has been open about suffering through a difficult period in her life.

Her mother passed away last year, and bereavement from it fuelled the loss of her weight.

But trolls on social media reportedly pounced, mocking the Underworld actress for her weight loss.

She shared a post on social media previously that offered a glimpse into her mental state.

“You take a break from Instagram for several months following the death of your mother, delete all of your posts and explain in some considerable detail about what you may have lost weight, including the fact that weight loss is one of the very first physical signs of bereavement … I think people might be broken."

Afterward, her Instagram was wiped. But now she posted another post which read "Bye" in white letters against a black background.

She did not stop there but posted another photo on Instagram Story, this time showing a rainbow probably at her street's end.

“Congratulations, you won. I give up," Beckinsale's caption read.

It is immediately unclear what her posts mean, but some of the actress's fans expressed concerns for her health.
