Taylor Swift delights the actors on the 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit' set with homemade gift
Taylor Swift gave the cast of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit a sweet gift while filming her cameo for an Emmy Awards skit, shared byKelli Giddish while giving a rare insight about the viral skit.
The 46-year-old actress revealed on the Women in Entertainment podcast that the August singer brought homemade cookies for the actors.
“She brought me some really, really, really good cookies,” Giddish said in a teaser of the upcoming episode. “And I'm kind of a cookie snob, so I was really pleased.”
Revealing the flavor, the actress noted Taylor brought “sourdough brown butter chocolate chip" cookies.
She further expressed her joy of working with Taylor noting the entire experience as “so fun” and everyone on the set was “so happy to host her.”
Talking about the skit, Kelli revealed it was her suggestion to ask Taylor to bring her cat Olivia Benson is famously named after Mariska Hargitay’s character in Law & Order: SVU.
Recalling the day with Taylor on the set, Kelli admitted it felt different.
“It was great. It was like the President of the United States was visiting, you know, like security was crazy,” she said.
“But the thing is, she comes in, and she's totally just sweet, down to earth, like a beautiful, beautiful spirit.”
