Benny Blanco admits how he ensured Selena Gomez had 'dream wedding'

Benny Blanco admits he fulfilled Selena Gomez's chilhood wish at their wedding ceremony.

The 38-year-old musician revealed to guest Gwyneth Paltrow on the latest episode of 'Friends Keep Secrets' podcast that he did something 'unconventional' for his bride of her big day.

“We rented a palm tree farm and converted it into a — we just wanted to do something unconventional and Selena ... she had a dream for a wedding since she was a kid,” Blanco said. “She’s like, ‘I want to walk down the aisle and I want the aisle to be, like, Persian rugs off centered. I don’t want normal flowers. I don’t want it to feel bougie.’ ”

He continued: “So it was incredible and you could tell we put so much effort into it, but also didn’t feel stuffy.”

Paltrow, 53, replied, “I love that. That’s so cool.”

A source earlier revealed of the couple: “There was so much love in the room.”

“The ceremony moved guests to tears. They wrote their own vows, which were both funny and sentimental,” the insider said, adding that “at the reception, everyone was letting loose and celebrating them well into the night. The vibe was so much fun.”
