Lionel Richie faces major trouble in his dedicated career
Lionel Richie has sparked fears due to his health.
Insiders have revealed that people close him are "begging" him to get the care. This comes as Richie recently was rushed to ICU mid performance.
Struggling to finish his hit Dancing on the Ceiling, the Grammy-winner asked for chair while performing. He told the audience, he was feeling lightheaded. "When you're feeling dizzy, sit your a-- down," he said before performing Three Times a Lady while sitting at a piano.
Now, a source told Radar Online, "Lionel is dedicated to his career and his audience."
"But people around him are begging him to get the care he needs before he gets back on stage and puts his life on the line again."
Notably, New York internist Dr. Stuart Fischer, also shared that it "reads like a classic cardiac episode."
"Rushing him to the ICU is a clear sign he likely had an irregular heartbeat, which often brings low blood pressure and collapse. Unattended, it could lead to cataclysmic heart failure," Fischer, who hasn't treated Lionel Richie added further.
It is pertinent to mention that the singer is being asked by his advisors to get comprehensive medical workup before going back on stage. "Someone his age needs to adjust their physical exertion. You can't safely go straight from the ICU to MSG," Dr Fischer said.
