The Duke of Sussex intends to hit back at King Charles with 'revenge statement'
Prince Harry reportedly intends to issue a "revenge statement" against his father, King Charles, following the Palace intervention over his royal status.
However, sources have told RadarOnline.com that he is maintaining his silence to avoid yet another destructive family conflict.
For those unaware, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved back to the UK with their children last month.
The family is believed to be residing in the Cotswolds, but guidance from Buckingham Palace has confirmed that the Sussexes are non-working royals and should be treated as "private citizens."
"Harry is deeply frustrated, and there is plenty he would like to say publicly, but he knows exactly what would happen if he unleashed everything he is feeling. It would immediately become Harry versus the King again," a source close to Harry and Meghan claimed.
"He feels the Palace's language painted an incomplete picture of his and Meghan's position," the insider continued. "They accept they aren't working royals, but they don't believe describing two globally recognized people as private citizens reflects reality."
"The temptation is obviously there to respond forcefully and put their side on the record. Harry is essentially gagging to hit back at Charles with some kind of 'revenge' statement," the confidant added.. But he knows one angry statement could overwhelm everything else about their return, so for now he is keeping his powder dry."
