Prince Harry sparks Prince William tension
Prince Harry's tribute to Princess Diana is set to leave Prince William frustrated.
It’s been weeks since Prince Harry stepped back onto the UK soil along with his wife, Meghan Markle and their children Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie but according to Cosmopolitan the Duke of Sussex’s relationship with his estranged brother seems to be creating "intense frustration."
Now, according to Daily Express, the two brother’s mother, Princess Diana’s 30th death anniversary is on the horizon and Prince Harry is planning to honor his late mother by making a project on her life. Moreover, he is asking her friends whether they would like to sit for an interview with him about the beloved Princess.
However, a royal commentator, Richard Kay reflected on the matter while speaking on Daily Mail’s Palace confidential, saying, "When they made, nine years ago, those documentaries to mark the 20th anniversary of their mother's death, that was the last time they were really in step together [...] William is just as much his mother's son as Harry is."
He went on to say, "This issue of trying to use Diana, the Spencer brand, the Spencer name, to divide himself away from the House of Windsor, I think is something we're going to see even more of. Let's not forget who Harry spent time with when he was here in July, it was Diana's family at Althorp."
On the other hand, Robert Jobson who is a royal journalist, broadcaster as well as author shared a different perspective, stating, "How can they not be together? There's going to be a moment where there has to be some form of arrangement for the 30th anniversary of Diana's death. They have to be on the same stage."
It is pertinent to mention here that Princess Diana died on August 31, 1997.
