Scooter Braun said to be seeing Sydney Sweeney as 'modern Marilyn Monroe'
Scooter Braun is reportedly serious about marrying Sydney Sweeney, according to a source close to the situation, who suggested a proposal could come within the next six months.
The source described Braun as viewing Sweeney as a modern-day version of Marilyn Monroe and said he's fully focused on making the relationship permanent.
“He thinks she is the modern Marilyn Monroe,” Page Six quoted the insider.
Continuing, the source claimed, “He is trying very hard to marry her. He is following her and chartering private planes. He’s going to stay focused on her until she marries him.”
The couple was recently spotted attending Rosh Hashanah services together at a synagogue in Greenwich, Connecticut. “They sat in the back,” said a spy who saw them at the synagogue, which counts high-profile financiers Mark Shenkman, Steven Tananbaum, Cliff Asness and Andrew Milgram as congregants.
Braun also publicly celebrated Sweeney's 29th birthday earlier this month, paying her tribute by calling her “the person who surprised me and showed me how life with true partnership can be lived.”
“You make me smile harder, laugh louder, adventure more, and dream bigger,” he wrote. “You’ve made the ordinary feel exciting and the future feel like something I can’t wait to get to.”
Sources say Braun has also become more “involved now in her career.”
Braun and Sweeney reportedly first met in Venice last year at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's wedding, long after Braun finalised his divorce from ex-wife Yael Cohen in 2022. However, Sweeney was engaged to Jonathan Davino until early 2025.
