Donald Trump's childhood home in New York sells for $2 Million after major renovation

Donald Trump's childhood home in the Jamaica Estates neighborhood of Queens, New York, has officially been sold for $1.93 million following a comprehensive luxury renovation.

The Tudor-style property was originally built in 1940 by the president's father, real estate developer Fred Trump, and is where Donald Trump lived during his earliest years until the age of four.

The property underwent a dramatic transformation after sitting vacant and falling into severe disrepair. Developer Tommy Lin purchased the neglected house for $835,000, subsequently investing over $500,000 across an eight-month overhaul.

Prior to the renovation, the house had suffered from structural water damage, mold caused by a burst pipe, and an infestation of feral cats.

The extensive interior remodeling successfully upgraded the five-bedroom, three-bathroom residence while preserving its historic exterior facade.

Modern additions include a high-end chef's kitchen, custom herringbone wood flooring, and spa-style bathrooms. Real estate agents noted that the home's unique presidential history significantly boosted buyer interest, ultimately closing the sale just under its final asking price.
