Boris Johnson survives Russian drone strike on Ukraine train
Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson reportedly survived a Russian drone strike while traveling on a train in Ukraine. According to reports, he was abruptly evacuated during a Russian strike alert near the Polish border.
Johnson’s train halted around 5 am because of nearby drone attacks and occupants of part of the train were temporarily evacuated.
The security measure was triggered by an incident on the same railway line. Der Spiegel reports showed that a Russian drone attacked the area of the Yahodyn-Dorohusk border crossing.
At the time, former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, adviser to German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, and security advisors to other European governments and members of the Bundestag were traveling through the area on a special train.
