George Clooney and Amal's relationship sparks serious questions about their future
It is being reported that George Clooney’s marriage to Amal Clooney has hit rock bottom.
An insider told Radar Online that Clooney is putting his all efforts into saving his relationship with wife, Amal, after she claimed that her life was “easier” before marrying the Ocean’s Eleven star. The main reason she feels stress in her marriage is the constant scrutiny she must deal with.
In recent years, Clooney has completely shifted his focus to his acting career and left Amal to take care of their nine-year-old twins named Alexander and Ella, which is making her spiral out of control.
The source said, "George went through the wringer last year doing Good Night, and Good Luck on Broadway," which took him "ages" to recover from performing in the nearly two-hour show eight times a week.
“George and lawyer Amal have both been very consumed with work the past couple of years, which has taken a toll on their relationship – there just wasn't any time for each other.”
“They weren't fighting, but they didn't have any work-life balance. That eventually kills the passion in any relationship, even or these two who have always been so hot and heavy,” the insider revealed.
Notably, the ER actor’s exhausting schedule is the key reason behind their crumbling relationship.
It is pertinent to mention that George Clooney and Amal, a Lebanese and British international human rights lawyer, tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony in Venice, Italy, on September 27, 2014.
