Kelly Osbourne opens up about her mother Sharon Osbourne's extremely different political views
Kelly Osbourne recently revealed that her mother Sharon Osbourne’s different political views have created tension in their family.
For those unaware, Ozzy Osbourne’s wife publicly supported far-right activist Tommy Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, in April 2026 by saying she would attend his anti-immigration rally in London, which was scheduled for May 16.
While sharing her perspective on Sharon’s political views, Kelly said, "I don't agree. I don't agree with my mom, no. That's one thing that I can say I don't agree with her on. It's hard because I love my mom, but I also have to understand that she's entitled to her own opinions as well. It's really hard when it comes to politics and things like that, but I... that's not for me."
An insider close to the Prince of Darkness’ family also told Radar Online that Sharon’s support for the agitator has turned her family against her.
The insider said, "Kelly loves her mother deeply, but there are certain political issues where they simply cannot see eye to eye. This is one of those subjects where Kelly feels strongly enough to speak publicly, and they are essentially at war over this pretty thorny issue."
Another source claimed that the 41-year-old TV personality and singer is genuinely sad “over their ideological differences.”
It is pertinent to mention that Sharon is deeply involved in politics, as she is considering standing for the British Conservative Party in Birmingham's local elections against Shahid Butt, a convicted terrorist.
