Prince Harry gets first taste of being a ‘private citizens'

Prince Harry’s return to Britain has been nothing short of explosive. Whether through his own actions or from those who support the King – as was made clear in Uganda’s statement when they refused participation in the Invictus Games.

Either way, now ‘Triggered with Samara Gill’ host Samara Gill has some thoughts about what the world is seeing, happen, to the Duke of Sussex.

In her view, “this is huge to be honest. This is kind of the words that Charles said a couple of days ago actually having consequences and it's really refreshing to see.”

She also said, “I have to say that it means that Harry is going to be treated like the private citizen that the King said and I think it also shows a pullback of support from all of Harry's projects. This could mean potentially others pulling out of charities that Harry's a part of because they don't see him as a royal anymore or they kind of can see that the King himself, his own father, the monarch, doesn't acknowledge him as a royal.”

A bit closer to the end she also said, “unfortunately, or fortunately, we're seeing some consequences, finally, to Harry's actions. I really think that him and Meghan thought that they could just grace back into the Royal Family as if nothing had happened over the past six years and what he's really feeling now is the rubber hitting the road, or in their case the private jet tire hitting the tarmac, and reality is at their doorstep now, Denica. Because they're actually figuring out that they can't just come back into the Royal Family like nothing's happened. They will actually have to face the music.”
