Patrick Clancy's decision to forgive ex-wife Lindsay 'spoke volumes' about him

For six years, Lindsay Clancy and her husband, Patrick Clancy, were married and had three children.

Then, a shocking incident upended the couple's life.

That's when Lindsay killed all of her children at her home in 2023.

Now, her remarried husband, Patrick, forgave her, according to the mom-of-three lawyer.

Kevin Reddington, in an interview with CNN, pointed to a series of actions by Clancy's ex-husband, which he said suggest he has forgiven her.

“Stood by her, testified for her in this trial and also forgave her, which is most important in her mind," the attorney said.

“That speaks volumes for that man," Reddington noted.

Nonetheless, Clancy's characterization of Patrick carries some weight.

On a GoFundMe page to support the accused's parents, he wrote a note just four days after the killing that he has forgiven her.

“I want to ask all of you that you find it deep within yourselves to forgive Lindsay, as I have,” he penned.

“Our marriage was wonderful and diametrically grew stronger as her condition rapidly worsened."

"I took as much pride in being her husband as I did in being a father and felt persistently lucky to have her in my life."

"I promise I’ll put all my energy into healing and rediscovering my purpose," Patrick wrote.

Meanwhile, the next hearing will take place on September 29.
