Sarah Ferguson could well make a fortune for herself if she takes the right steps
Sarah Ferguson has left the Palace in panic with her sudden return.
The ex Duchess of York, who left the UK back in February after her exile from the Royal Lodge, is hoping to retrieve herself financially.
An insider tells Heat World: “This is a pivotal time for Sarah. If she can find her foothold back in society in London and find a way to cover her costs without doing anything scandalous, there is a chance she could salvage some sort of life for herself.”
“But there are a lot of ifs in the equation. For one thing, there’s still a huge temptation on her part to cash in and do this tell-all. She may be insisting now that she’s not going to write a book, but with the right number, she may very well cave,” they add.
“She’s renting this house for £10K a month; it’s nothing to sneeze at, but it is a real step down from the lifestyle she’s used to because money is a huge issue. She has so many bills; she needs a way to start earning, so right now it’s all about figuring a way for her to do that without offending everyone.’
The source continues: “She was extremely crafty in the way she timed her return. With everyone focused on Harry and Meghan, Sarah was able to slip back under the radar without the sort of scrutiny that might otherwise have greeted her.”
“It caught people off guard and was a reminder that, for all her troubles, Sarah can be incredibly strategic when she wants to be,” they note.
