'Love of Your Life' trailer shows Margaret Qualley falling for two men

Margaret Qualley is caught between heartbreak and new love in the first trailer of Love of Your Life.

The trailer released on September 9, introduces Qualley as Maya, a 26-year-old nurse who walks away from her marriage after a devastating end to her relationship with Charlie, played by Gabriel Basso.

In the trailer, Maya emotionally says, "I put everything I needed in two suitcases, and I threw my phone away. And then I just didn’t go back."

She starts over as a digital nomad in Portugal, where she meets Felix, played by Aaron Pierre and falls in love again.

However, her past continues to follow her, leaving her questioning whether moving forward means letting go of the person she once considered the love of her life.

The film is based on Rachel Morrison’s novel, it is described as an emotionally expansive romance exploring love, human connection and the journey toward learning to love yourself.

Love of Your Life, also starring Patrick Schwarzenegger, Catherine Keener, Tamara Lawrence and Corey Johnson, is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 13, 2026 before releasing in theaters on October 7, 2026.
