Prince William, who can't stand Andrew, hugs Queen with links to Epstein

Prince William and Princess Anne offered condolences to Norway’s new king after they attended the funeral of King Harald V on Wednesday.

Videos and pictures showed the Prince of Wales and his aunt speaking to King Haakon VIII and Queen Mette-Marit after the funeral.

However, pictures of Prince William hugging and speaking to Mette-Marit showed how diplomacy requires him to interact with people he does not usually communicate with in his own country or family, for that matter.

The Prince of Wales, who has had a strained relationship with his uncle Prince Andrew over his past links to Jeffrey Epstein, was seen hugging the new Norwegian queen out of courtesy.

The pictures also raised the question of whether he will one day be seen hugging and speaking to his own uncle in the near future.

William’s father, King Charles III, stripped Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor of his royal titles and expelled him from Royal Lodge in Windsor over his links to Jeffrey Epstein.

Earlier this year, the former Duke of York was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

Although Mountbatten-Windsor was released a few hours after his arrest, he still remains under investigation.
