Jimmy Kimmel marks late-night show's major milestone amid 2027 exit rumors

Jimmy Kimmel and the late-night talk show team are celebrating "FOUR THOUSAND" episodes of Jimmy Kimmel Live! after reports that the show will end in 2027.

The host, with beloved comedic sidekick Guillermo Rodríguez, took to Instagram to mark the milestone of ABC's late-night show.

In the celebratory post, Jimmy and Guillermo can be seen peeking from the hollow part of the golden balloons making the number "4000" at the studio of the show.

"FOUR THOUSAND SHOWS!!!" they wrote in the caption along with a clap and a blue heart emojis, celebrating the big day.

Fans rushed to the comment section to congratulate him on the milestone, as one gushed, "Way to go bro love your show."

"That is sooooo cool! Congratulations one and all!" another wrote.

Meanwhile, a third fan warmly welcomed Jimmy, who returned to the show after a brief summer break on September 8.

"4000 AND COUNTING HAVE FUN TONIGHT!!!! Welcome Back Jimmy!!!!" the follower wrote.

For those unaware, Kimmel first launched the late-night talk show with ABC in 2003 and has been running the show successfully for more than 24 years.

This came after American Broadcasting Company pushed back on the claims that the late-night talk show is ending in 2027, as reported by Page Six

They said in a statement to Entertainment Weekly, "This information is inaccurate."

Further clapping back at the claims, the rep noted, "Any reports about the future of the show at this point are purely speculative."
