The royal insiders have revealed the real reason why Queen Camilla is now 'determined' to make Kate Middleton an ally.
Camilla has also made it clear that she is firmly on Kate Middleton and Prince William’s side when it comes to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
The Closer, citing the royal sources, has reported that future king Prince William and Kate Middleton will need to ensure that when they ascend the throne, “they are surrounded by people they can trust implicitly.”
Therefore, the close confidant tells the outlet, Camilla hopes that any show of goodwill now will make a ‘huge difference’ when the time comes for Kate and William to take the throne.
“It’s not as though William and Kate are sitting around plotting against her, but Camilla can see which way the wind is blowing,” the source said and added, “She fully expects William to come in with a vengeance; she knows how crucial it is for her to be in his good graces when he takes the crown so she wants to get her ducks in a row now.”
The insiders said Camilla knows Kate is her 'best hope of getting' through to William, so as uncomfortable as it may be, “she’s determined to make her an ally.”
That means ‘swallowing her pride’ and being more gracious towards Kate while she still has the opportunity.
