Malik Elassal opens up about one person he wants to make cameo in next season of 'Adults'
Malik Elassal recently revealed a shocking personality he wants to bring to Adults season 3.
For those unaware, the 30-year-old Canadian stand-up comedian and actor is playing the role of Samir in the American television sitcom created by Rebecca Shaw and Ben Kronengold about a group of pals who are in their twenties and are experiencing adulthood in Queens, New York City.
Standing on top of the Empire State Building, Elassal revealed that he wants New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani to make a cameo in the third season of Adults.
He said, “I feel like we could make this happen” to get the Democratic Socialist politician in the next season.
“Dude, let’s get Zohran on the show… like we have his contact information. Well, he’s from Queens. He would just be like campaigning still, and then Anton’s like, ‘Honey, you don’t have to do this. Get in here!’ And then we just have a night,” Elassal added.
He went on to mention that he and Mamdani have some mutual friends, which is “crazy,” but this can help make his appearance in the show possible.
It is pertinent to mention that FX has not yet renewed the series for season three; however, Malik Elassal’s suggestion hints that there might be another season.
Adults season 3 premiered with all eight episodes on FX, Hulu, and Disney+ on August 27, 2026.
