Trump ridiculed as 'South Park' makes major Emmy comeback
'South Park' previously also mocked Donald Trump in its episodes
Donald Trump and the South Park often trade barbs now with the latter making a major award comeback, the series makers did not waste the opportunity.
Winning an Emmy inOutstanding Animated Program, marking the gong first time the animated series gotten in over a decade, the show's creators posted the U.S. president holding the trophy.
The line in the image read, "You finally got your Emmy."
It is a reference to Trump's two-time being nominated for an Emmy for his reality show The Apprentice in 2004 and 2005, respectively.
However, he did not win none.
Meanwhile, the South Park co-creator Trey Parker added, “A big thank you to the greatest fans in the world. It’s only because of you guys that we haven’t been canceled in 30 years."
