Prince Harry did not enjoy to be constantly under observation as a child
Prince Harry did not like to be followed by security all the time, says a former royal staff.
The Duke of Sussex, who is currently pleading for taxpayer funded security for himself, wife Meghan Markle and their two kids in the UK, did not enjoy to be followed around by bodyguards as a child.
Speaking on the "The Royals Uncensored" show, former Royal butler Grant Harold noted: "Of course it was a long time ago I was there, but I always remember the whole security thing."
Harrold continued: "He had a close protection officer, there were a couple of back-ups that would follow them around, but I remember he used to try and avoid them."
According to the former butler: “He used to try and escape them. He didn't want them around."
The butler noted: “He used to disappear round the back of the house and you'd have a police protection officer say 'Where has he gone?'"
