Bebe Rexha claps back at comments about her body after weight gain
Bebe Rexha wants an app for just girls and gays, a strategy she believes will stop men from getting to comment on her new posts to criticise her body.
The 37-year-old pop star, who performed at a World Cup watch party in July, expressed her frustration with men who only comment on her body.
She began her post by writing that she isn't sure what to do about the attention her body has been getting, especially with her chest now larger with her recent weight gain.
"They just got so massive and I hate the straight men in my comments who only come for that but, then again, a girl still wanna dress sexy," she wrote, before proposing that there should be "an app for girls and gays."
In a follow-up post, she pointed out that curvier women are often judged more harshly for wearing fitted clothing than others might be.
"I feel like when girls with curvy bodies wear something tight we automatically look s*****," she told her two million followers on X.
When a fan asked whether her recent weight change was connected to her polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) diagnosis, Rexha said it was a combination of that and eating more bread.
PCOS is a chronic condition linked to a higher risk of weight gain, according to the World Health Organization.
