Britney Spears is reminding peolpe that her existence is "enough"
Britney Spears is quoting Justin Bieber's statement about on self-worth days after she revealed how her 13-year conservatorship damaged her "heart and soul."
The 44-year-old pop star took to her Instagram account on Saturday and posted a candid picture of Justin along with his quote that read, "My worth isn't based on what I did, what I have, who I know, or what people say about me. I am enough because God created me. - Justin Bieber."
In the caption, Britney only tagged the Baby hitmaker and left the caption empty.
Britney's post came after she shared a deep reflection on the "sacred" part of herself she lost in conservatorship.
For those unaware of Britney's conservatorship, in February 2008, Los Angeles Superior Court placed Britney Spears under a conservatorship following her public mental health struggles and hospitalizations. Her career and multi-million dollar estate were then legally put under the control of her father, Jamie Spears and a co-conservator.
Recalling those days she penned on her social media, admitted she actually missed the way she "respected people so much," noting, "there was a genuine mystery of acute oneness when we were together, which was sacred."
But it got shattered when she was hit with conservatorship: "I feel like, still to this day, people don’t realize the real damage that was done to my heart and soul in the conservatorship."
