Prince Harry’s movie about Princess Diana invites surprise royal guest as narrator

It’s well known that Prince Harry has been working on a documentary with Netflix to pay homage to his mother, for the 30th anniversary of her death which is slated for 2027.

Apart from this not much has been known—until now that is.

According to celebrity news reporter Rob Shuter there will be another royal being featured on the doc.

One of his sources in the production world dropped the bombshell rather candidly to his Naughty But Nice Substack.

Their exact words were, “Meghan isn’t getting a cameo — she’s becoming the voice of Diana’s story. That makes her a central figure in the film. Harry may be the son, but Meghan will be the voice viewers hear.”

However, it won’t be sitting right with Prince William especially given the sensitive nature of both boys’ relationship with their late mother.

As for why, a royal source explained it. “William believes Diana’s legacy belongs to him,” they said. “Harry making his own film is one thing. Meghan becoming the narrator of their mother’s story is something else entirely. That will be extremely difficult for William.”

One thing that appears to be fanning the flame is the fact that Harry and Meghan are “shaping this together.” According to the source, “they believe there are powerful parallels between Diana’s battles with the palace and press and their own experience.”

All in all “Meghan’s narration makes that perspective impossible to separate from the film,” they said in their concluding words.
