Jay-Z celebrates Beyoncé's birthday during London concert
Jay-Z had a special surprise forBeyoncé during his concert in London on Friday as she turned 45.
During the show, Jay-Z asked the production team to feature Beyoncé on the venue's jumbotron. Once she appeared on screen, fans cheered as she smiled and greeted the crowd from a suite.
Jay-Z then led the audience in singing "Happy Birthday" to her, followed by a fireworks display as the celebration continued.
Beyoncé, dressed casually for the outing, blew kisses and waved to the crowd while watching the fireworks. “Oh my God,” she mouthed before he continued on with the show.
Her birthday this year also coincided with the 20th anniversary of her album "B'Day." To mark the occasion, she released a deluxe edition of the album, featuring several of her well-known songs from that era.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z have been married since 2008 and have generally kept much of their personal relationship private over the years. Together, they are parents to three children, including their eldest daughter and a set of twins born in 2017.
