HBO hits gold with 'Lanterns' as viewership numbers are revealed

Here it is, Lanterns, a long-anticipated show, finally debuted weeks ago and is delivering impressive streaming figures.

Last week's third episode, in particular, attracted ten million viewers globally just three days later.

According to Variety, seven million of them are from the U.S., while the rest are from other countries.

With the pilot reaching twenty million viewers over time, the Lanterns already enters HBO's list of biggest series launches.

Not to mention, the series also becomes the top show, premiere-wise, among DC Studios shows on HBO Max.

Sharing these figures suggests that HBO believes Lanterns is worth investing in.

Meanwhile, the series synopsis read, “Recruit John Stewart (Pierre) and Lantern legend Hal Jordan (Chandler), two intergalactic cops drawn into a dark, earth-based mystery as they investigate a murder in the American heartland.”
