Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s return to the UK has once again sparked an unofficial audit into their finances and its all because of the heavy hitting numbers they’ve all seem to have dropped to make the transition possible.
For those unversed, not only was there a private jet involved, to wiz them from one end to the other, but there’s also the fact that their rumoured monthly rent is by no means going to be cheap.
For those unversed with the numbers, outlets report the use of a private jet cost them nearly $120k and their monthly rent in the Cotwolds is around $75k monthly as well.
However, that isn’t the only money that’s said to be leaving their coffers because Prince Harry only recently got served a legal bill amounting to £35 million, after he lost his case to the Associated Newspapers Limited.
With this also in the rearview many are starting to wonder if the couple received help to make this move possible. There is even chatter that a hedge fund manager was the person to offer assistance.
Either way a source sat down at length and admitted, “Meghan and Harry are running on a very limited budget so it’s a shock to see them blowing $120k on a private jet using the dogs as an excuse.”
According to Woman’s Day the insider pointed out the sheer difference in rumors and current reports by saying, “Meghan’s bought a whole new wardrobe for each of them, but the big question is how on earth they’re able to afford it? Especially after Harry’s had to find millions in legal fees after losing his court case.”
Moreover, its said Harry and Meghan are ‘paranoid’ about anyone trying to ‘claim’ they’re ‘blagging freebies’ but “there’s no doubt someone’s helping them out,” the insider feels. “Whether it’s the King or Harry’s Uncle Charlie, the math doesn’t add up unless they have some kind of sponsor.”
Near the end they did make one thing clear though, and its, “if Harry and Meghan are somehow funding this all themselves, it’s clear they’re going all in.”
“Even if they decide to return, having a year next to Grandpa and a chance to reopen their security protocols can only be a good thing,” the insider added before signing off.
