German police said, an unknown object exploded at a train station in the southern city of Augsburg on Wednesday.
The detonation also shattered nearby window panes.
Federal and local police launched a major security operation, cordoning off surrounding streets including Bahnhofstrasse and Halderstrasse and temporarily closing parts of the station, including Track 1.
Authorities have confirmed that an unknown object detonated, but the exact cause and nature of the device remain under active investigation, with local public transport and train services experiencing targeted disruptions.
