Maisie Williams talks about close bond with Sandra Bullock!
The upcoming Practical Magic 2 features Maisie alongside Sandra and Nicole Kidman.
In a recent interview with People Magazine, Maisie revealed how the cast members grew closer, and later, Sandra invited them for a girls' sleepover. “I mean, mostly it was just very organic and getting to know one another on set,” Maisie said.
“But then Sandra did invite us over for a sleepover towards the end of the shoot, which was so lovely.”
Adding, “We went in her hot tub and ate all of her food from her fridge. And it was the nicest thing ever. She’s like, ‘I’ve got to go to work.’ And then we just stayed in her house and watched things on the TV and yeah, just had a good time.”
“Well, we also had to go to work, but we just went a few hours later.”
“So we were just gabbing on the sofa, drinking tea and having a nice time,” she further added.
As the upcoming comedy, fantasy drama is based on the original Practical Magic, looking back at the time when she rewatched it with her mother, Maisie said, “I watched it with my sister a long time ago. But the more core memory of it that I have is when I was auditioning for this. I watched it again with my mom and I feel like I got to appreciate it far more as an adult watching it. And then I also got to see her enjoying it. She was like, ‘Oh my God, how did I miss this film?’ So that was a really special viewing experience, but I don’t remember the first time.”
The Game of Thrones alum further went on to say, “Yeah, she has turned so many incredible looks. It was hard to choose which one I wanted to do.”
“I just think that we know her for these iconic characters that she’s played, but she’s also had so many iconic looks. So it just felt [like] in the world of method dressing, why just keep it to this film and why not open up to these two legends that I have been so lucky to work with?” the actress, 28, added further.
It is pertinent to mention that the upcoming Practical Magic 2 is set to hit theaters in September 2026.
