Lawmaker accuses Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor of committing sex crimes in US
The name of King Charles III's brother was mentioned by a US congressman
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been accused of "committing sex crimes in the US" by a Republican congressman.
During a speech delivered on the floor of the House of Representatives, Thomas Massie named the younger brother of Britian’s King Charles III while calling for those in Jeffrey Epstein's circle to face investigation and prosecution.
"And Prince Andrew, who committed sex crimes in the US," Massie alleged while naming people known for links with Epstein.
The Kentucky representative also named former Barclays chief executive Jes Staley and illusionist David Copperfield.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was accused of sexually abusing Virginia Giuffre, who committed suicide in April 2025.
Giuffre, an Epstein victim, accused Mountbatten-Windsor of having sex with her in 2001 when she was just 17 years old.
The matter was resolved through an out-of-court settlement in 2022, and the former prince made no admission of guilt or liability.
He was stripped of royal titles and expelled from Royal Lodge in Windsor by King Charles over his links with Epstein.
Earlier this year, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested on suspicion misconduct in public office.
Although he was released by the police a few hours after his arrest, Mountbatten-Windsor still remains under investigation.
