King Charles had a "real spring in his step" after seeing Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Archie, and Lilibet
Prince William has reportedly left his stepmother Queen Camilla ‘fuming’ after the Prince of Wales refused her demand to make peace with estranged brother Harry.
The insiders have claimed this to the National Examiner recently after Harry, Meghan and their children returned to Britain for extended period.
The source said Queen Camilla was said to want William to make peace with Harry for their father King Charles' sake.
The close confidant said King Charles had a "real spring in his step" after seeing Harry, Meghan Markle, Archie, and Lilibet in July.
However, William's refusal reportedly kept the brotherly feud at the center of palace tensions.
The insider told the outlet that Camilla "knows better than anyone" how important the reconciliation is to King Charles.
The monarch wants greater stability between his sons William and Harry after years of tension, the source continued.
The ongoing feud between Harry and William remained "very bothersome" for King Charles.
"All he wants is peace," the source said and added, Prince William "won't give that to him."
Meanwhile, there are also claims Camilla has been supporting King Charles efforts to make peace with Harry and daughter-in-law Meghan Markle despite her past differences with the Duke.
Royal expert Hilary Fordwich has said, “Camilla is dedicated to the king’s health and welfare, so it’s not surprising."
Another royal expert Helena Chard said, “she is made of tough stuff and plays a vital role as King Charles’ steadfast partner, prioritizing his protection.”
“Supporting the king through rigorous treatment and applauding his determination, Camilla’s desire is to ensure her husband’s [golden] years bring him peace, health and joy," the royal expert further explained.
